Occasionally, I receive e-mails from frustrated parents who want to find out about 'opening a homeschool and/or charter school'. I confess that before I became involved in the homeschool community, I never bothered to ponder the difference myself. Fortunately but unfortunately, I wasn't a parent when, as a homeschooling friend described, you had to hide your children indoors all day. It is much easier for this generation to take our homeschools for granted. After reading this article, I do have a better understanding of our rights and responsibilities as a homeschooling community, and why we need to protect what we have. I hope it enlightens you as well. God bless.
